The French
Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hong Kong was established
in 1986. Today, it represents more than 500 members with
business interests in France, Hong Kong and Mainland
China.
Being a part of the worldwide network of 110
French Chambers (UCCIFE -
www.uccife.org) in 75 countries with over 23,500 companies,
the French Chamber in Hong Kong is one of the leading chambers
in the Asia Pacific region. It represents the French business
community at the International Business Committee, an organization
designed to exchange views with the Hong Kong government over
matters of interest and concern to the International Business
Community in Hong Kong.
Our Mission Statement
To contribute to developing and
improving the economic, commercial and financial relations between
France and Hong Kong.
To achieve this objective:
- We provide an information platform, business services and
networking opportunities.
- We promote Members' interests and convey their views to decision
makers in the Government and Industry.
- We develop an extensive program of communication (publications,
website..) and actions (events, seminars, missions...)

Creation of the French Business Association (FBA)

FBA is renamed into the French Chamber of Commerce & Industry
in Hong Kong

The first edition of Hong Kong Echo is published
1995
Creation of the Recruitment Department of The French Chamber
after the initiative of the Consulate General of France and
the Foreign Affairs Ministry
