Created in 1986, the French Chamber in Hong Kong is today the largest European Chamber in Hong Kong and one of the largest French Chambers in Asia-Pacific. With more than 750 members of various nationalities, one of our strengths is to be able to respond to the needs of both large corporations as well as SMEs.

Our mission is to contribute to developing and fostering economic, commercial and financial relations between France and Hong Kong. To achieve this, we provide a comprehensive information platform, promote Members' interests to industry leaders and key decision-makers, and offer an extensive range of communication tools. In short, we connect people, ideas and actions.

The French Chamber offers 15 dynamic and business-oriented committees or working groups for our members to take part in, giving them opportunity to share their professional experience and obtain industry updates.

We also organize over 70 events per year, providing a wide range of corporate seminars, workshops and social gatherings. Our main goal is to develop a platform on which members can forge better relationships with the business community and keep informed of developments in their field of interest.

With over one third of our membership being composed of non-French nationals, the French Chamber takes much pride in the diversity of its member companies. The dynamism and vitality of our members has been instrumental in making our Chamber an organization that is well-known and appreciated by a great number of business people in Hong Kong and also in China. This largely explains Hong Kong Echo’s circulation of 6,500 copies, a number that greatly exceeds our member base.
