Julia HolidaySustainability Project Manager at Valrhona

Julia Holiday is a sustainability project manager at Valrhona, a B Corp certified company producing high end chocolate for gastronomy professionals across the world.  

After obtaining a BA in Spanish and Arabic at the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Social Anthropology at the London School of Economics, in 2012 Julia joined FareShare, a network of foodbanks in the UK, as Training and Volunteer Manager. In 2014, she moved to San Francisco to work in Valrhona USA’s sales team, before moving to France a year later to join Valrhona’s sustainability team. Today, Julia works with staff across the company to embed sustainability in the business’ strategy, with a particular focus on fair and sustainable cocoa supply chains, supporting clients to become sustainable, and more recently, carbon neutrality.
