Erwan Rambourg will share his view on the fundamental changes and new trends in luxury, and answer the main questions about business recovery.

Join us to hear Erwan Rambourg (author of The Bling Dynasty and Future Luxe: What's Ahead for the Business of Luxury, Managing Director & Global Co-Head of Consumer & Retail Research of HSBC) speak about the major forces and emerging trends that are set to reshape luxury and other markets over the next decade in Hong Kong, Asia, and beyond.

Following the success of his first book in 2014, Erwan will release another hard-hitting work Future Luxe: What's Ahead for the Business of Luxury on the fundamental changes and new trends in the realms of luxury, travel, health, leisure sectors.

With conclusions drawn from his interviews with several CEOs from the largest groups and brands, including Kering, Cartier, Puma, and Moncler, as well as his own observations from over two decades in luxury, Erwan will give a preview of his new vital read for the retail industry, providing an in-depth and futuristic point of view about where are the luxury markets heading in the next 10 years - the keys to long-term success.

Erwan will tackle the major questions for business recovery, including:

  • Will Asia and China remain the main driver of growth in the next decade?
  • How do harmonisation of prices, omnichannel buying, monitoring consumer spending, and education about brands accelerate the development of different markets?
  • How can luxury markets around the world thrive with Gen Z?
  • Will brick and mortar be superseded by e-commerce?
  • What are the experiences and values that the next generation of consumers are looking for, especially after COVID-19?
  • Is the retail industry ready to be self-disrupted to embrace new challenges in the long-term?

Erwan will be joined by Damien Vernet (President of LVMH Fashion Group Asia) in the fireside chat and the Q&A session.

We are pleased to offer a special offer on pre-orders of Erwan's new book Future Luxe: What's Ahead for the Business of Luxury at 150 HKD each* (regular retail price: 240 HKD). To purchase a copy, please contact us.
