OnTheList knocks on Taikoo Place’s door
Asia's first members-only flash sales platform, OnTheList, is expanding its footprint in Hong Kong with its latest showroom set to open in Taikoo Place.
Located in Oxford House in Taikoo Place, enveloped between landscaped gardens with water features and a park adjacent to the development, the brand will be taking over an entire floor, branded the “OnTheList” floor. The showroom boasts a huge, sweeping space of 11,000 square feet, and is able to house 20,000 units at their new location, welcoming only more brand partners to collaborate with. With their customers in mind, the new showroom is one seamless space for all to explore, pouring with natural light, sky-high ceilings, accented with marble finishing, and complete with full-length mirrors in every corner. Digital screens feature throughout the floor, merging the off to online experience.
With sustainability at the core of the business, OnTheList is the proud developer of OnTheLove – a series of initiatives that give back to local communities and amplify OnTheList’s eco-friendly commitments. By engaging and mobilizing over 500,000 members, 700 brand partners and a team of more than 150 experts in their field, sustainability carnivals, host swap parties and charity sales are amongst a handful of happenings OnTheList hosts that not only
limits the impact on the planet, but also encourages a circular economy and creates value and excitement with panache for members.
OnTheList’s green efforts certainly don’t stop there. It has committed to reducing waste by recycling their plastic hangers, bags and paper products since 2019 and continues to do so by hand-delivering them to chosen recycling partners, ensuring items are reused or repurposed into new products, resulting in over 6 tonnes of waste being saved last year from ending up in landfills or the ocean. All of OnTheList’s shopping bags are also made from 100% recycled polyester, whereby even their online packaging uses minimal ink and environmentally-friendly cardboard. This naturally aligns with OnTheList’s new landlord, Swire’s sustainability commitments, as well as ensuring their carbon footprint and energy consumption remains significantly low as they build lasting climate resilience.
