Boris Duhamel has an extensive knowledge of Asia Pacific. His experiences in senior line functions in international organizations, enable him to master all relevant aspects of managing businesses globally. He has demonstrated to be able to tackle financial, production and commercial objectives successfully.
He has received in November 2020, the first ever French Entrepreneur Trophies Award, sponsored by EDHEC business School, for his exceptional carrier and contribution to make France shine is Asia. Boris founded the company Baseline Ltd in September 2012 after identifying a serious gap in the Luxury Retail market in Asia.
Baseline Lighting Design Studio is proposing a range of solutions from concept to build that create Luxury Atmospheres adding value to clients experience in Luxury Retail & Hospitality. Baseline industrial department is developing and manufacturing a range of products that are promoted under the brands ZEPLINN & ERLICHT. Baseline Ltd is developing a group of affiliates in Asia, Europe, Middle-East and North America.
The company acts as buying office for several key accounts and provide OEM manufacturing service to European manufacturers.
Mr. Duhamel has fine tuned the business model of the organization in order to secure sustainable growth and provide leveraged exit opportunities.
From May 2011 until May 2012 Mr. Duhamel has been the Turn-Around CEO with the Bergner Group –Turnover 250 M USD-(Cookware, Homeware, Small appliances & decorative items). The Group has experienced record growth in profitability and turnover over the period. Mr. DUHAMEL has implemented the strategy with full Group P&L responsibility. He has been following the development of the Bergner Group with its Chairman since 2009 and remains a key adviser today.
Between 2002 and 2011, Boris DUHAMEL was the CEO for Asia Pacific & Middle East for the Uniross Group –Turnover 100 M USD-now known as Forsee) in Hong Kong (Rechargeable batteries, Power Supplies & Electronic accessories). He opened the Group factory in Zhongshan and today the company employs around 400 headcounts.
Before joining Uniross Group, Boris DUHAMEL was hired in 1999 as General Manager of Protecta International (World leading manufacturer of fall protection equipment) in Hong Kong. His main target was to create and manage an office in order to develop Protecta’s business throughout the Asia-Pacific region (including Japan) as well as an international buying office.
Born and raised in France, Mr. DUHAMEL is fluent in French, English and German. He obtained a diploma from Stanford University (Executive Program for Growing Companies) in 2011. He graduated from the Kedge Business School and majored in Product Management (Master of European Institute of Design, Toulon) and International Business (Hoocheschool Vor Economische Studies, Amsterdam). Before that he completed a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Bordeaux University.
