Our governance
The French Chamber is governed by 40 Councillors, elected by the Chamber’s members during the Annual General Meeting.
They represent a broad cross section of French, local and international business actors from entrepreneurs to executives at large MNCs. Councillors work closely with the Executive Committee and monitor the Chamber’s activity as well as approve long-term strategies, business plans and the annual budget.
The Executive Committee plays a key role in driving the vision and strategy of the Chamber under the guidance of the Council, and in co-operation with the permanent staff. Each member of the Executive Committee is first elected as a Councillor by the Chamber's Members, and then nominated by the elected President.
