Cherry Lee is Associate Director of Marketing and Customer Services at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). In this position, she oversees the corporate marketing initiatives of the Council, helping to promote the Council’s activities through digital and traditional media worldwide. She is also responsible for the Council’s corporate branding, promoting its corporate values and enhancing its customer services. One of Cherry’s main responsibilities is to devise strategies to help Hong Kong’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) tap into the burgeoning Greater Bay Area (GBA) market through the GoGBA programme. In addition, she leads a team to organize initiatives aiming at enabling SMEs to achieve their transformation goals through the T-Box Programme.
Cherry joined the HKTDC as an Executive Trainee in 1999. Over the years, she has worked in various departments to promote Hong Kong’s trade and business in the Chinese mainland and overseas markets. For a considerable period, she served in the secretariat office of the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide, which is supported by the HKTDC. She also worked in HKTDC’s Overseas Secretariat team, where she was responsible for promoting the Council’s global network.
Cherry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (with Honors) degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and earned a Bachelor of Laws (with Honors) degree from the University of London.
