Biography of Mr Kingsley Wong King-man

Assistant Government Chief Information Officer (Industry Development)

Mr Kingsley Wong King-man joined the Hong Kong Government in September 1987, immediately after graduation from the University of Hong Kong, majoring in Civil Engineering.

As an information technology (IT) professional, Mr Wong has provided IT services to various government departments, including the Housing Department, the Immigration Department and the Education Bureau.  He took up the appointment as Assistant Government Chief Information Officer (Industry Development) in December 2019 to promote the development of information and communications technology industry and manpower, smart city and digital inclusion in Hong Kong.
