Join this in-person session to hear from David Baverez about recent regulatory changes in China, and engage in a Q&A.

Recently, we have witnessed some important regulatory changes taking place in mainland China. Join this in-person fireside chat with David Baverez, private investor, and author of Beijing Express to hear about his view on ‘Is China closing down or opening up’.

During this session, David will take you behind the latest news headlines and explain the impact of recent developments have had on the views of the foreign business community towards mainland China and Hong Kong.

Through an objective, and always-entertaining analysis, he will reveal the potential fallout for China and the West alike.

There will be ample time for a Q&A session, while copies of David’s latest book Chine-Europe : le grand tournant (Le Passeur, 2021) will be available to be purchased and signed by the author. Limited place will be given on first-come, first-served basis.
