Join this in-person GBA Series to hear from Dr Cheung Kwok-kwan and Ms Peggy Au-Yeung from the Hong Kong Department of Justice.
Join us for a timely and thought-provoking discussion on Hong Kong’s leadership as an international legal centre. As global legal landscapes evolve, Hong Kong continues to position itself as a trusted, neutral, and dynamic hub for legal and dispute resolution services.
In collaboration with the Italian Chamber in Hong Kong, this event will explore the city’s unique strengths under the "one country, two systems" framework, its commitment to the rule of law, and its growing role in cross-border legal cooperation and international arbitration. Dr Cheung Kwok-kwan, SBS, JP, Deputy Secretary for Justice, and Ms Peggy Au-Yeung, Principal Government Counsel will present the initiatives by the Hong Kong Department of Justice, which will then be decrypted by Dr Giuliano G. Castellano, Associate Professor of Law, University of Hong Kong and Heidi Chui, Partner, Stevenson, Wong & Co., from both an academic and a practitioner perspective in a panel discussion.
Don't miss this opportunity to gain insights from the senior officials shaping Hong Kong's legal strategy on the global stage, and learn how the business community can best embrace the benefits the SAR offers.
Limited seats are reserved on first-come, first-served basis. Register now to secure your spot!
