With the uncertainties hanging over the China economy, it is even more important to understand how affluent and HNW consumer mood is evolving in both Hong Kong and China, and how their habits have changed as a result of the new reality
In this session, we will discuss with Amrita Banta, Agility Research & Strategy MD, consumers’ sentiment for the 2023 last quarter and the 2024 luxury retail and outbound luxury travel outlook for both Hong Kong and China. Amrita will present recent findings from the latest TrendLens™ 2023-24 study, covering interviews completed in September 2023 with over 1,000 affluent and 400 HNW individuals about new luxury trends, shopping intention and share-of-wallet across fashion, beauty, watches & jewelry, premium wines & spirits, luxury automotive and travel retail.
