Join the in-person site visit organised by the H&I Committee to discover C2i, a translational laboratory of HKU-Pasteur Research Pole at Science Park.

Join this in-person site visit organised by the H&I Committee to discover Center for Immunology & Infection (C2i), a new translational laboratory of HKU Pasteur at Science Park. During the visit, we will be accompanied by their lab manager and discover their latest experimentations, about precision medicine, development of universal influenza vaccines, risk of endemic transmission of mosquito borne viral infections in Hong Kong, novel experimental platform of human respiratory tract, and more. 

This visit will be followed by a presentation by Professor Roberto Bruzzone, and a Q&A session. 

Limited places will be offered on first-come, first-served basis.

Format: 

  • 45 minutes of lab visit
  • 20 minutes of presentation
  • 25 minutes of Q&A

Audience: 15 people max (French Chamber members and staff)

  • Presentation of C2i
  • Program 1, an innovative program for precision medicine
  • Innovative strategies in program 2: development of universal influenza vaccines
  • Innovative strategies in program 3: a public health capacity to assess risk of endemic transmission of mosquito borne viral infections in Hong Kong
  • Innovative strategies in program 4: novel experimental platform of human respiratory tract, for emerging infectious diseases and precision medicine
