Versailles: The Lost Gardens of the Sun King — A New Multi-User VR Experience

Starting May 28th, VisionairsAsia will present a new VR exhibition: Versailles: The Lost Gardens of the Sun King.

This immersive experience invites visitors to rediscover three vanished marvels of the Versailles estate — the Royal Menagerie, the Grotto of Tethys, and the Labyrinth Garden — through an interactive, multi-user journey guided by André Le Nôtre, the King’s chief landscape architect.

Originally developed by GEDEON Experiences and VIVE Arts in collaboration with the Palace of Versailles, the project blends historical storytelling with advanced VR technology, offering a rare and intimate glimpse into the past.

The 25-minute journey weaves historical accuracy with artistic direction, allowing audiences to step into 17th-century France and experience Versailles in a way no longer possible in real life.

As part of VisionairsAsia’s mission to bring culture to life through immersive formats, Versailles: The Lost Gardens of the Sun King will debut in Hong Kong before traveling across Asia.
This initiative continues our commitment to expanding access to meaningful, emotional cultural experiences — where art, history, and innovation meet.
