Mr. Yu YiPermanent Representative, Canton Fair Hong Kong Representative Office

Mr. Yu Yi holds a Master’s Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (1999). With over 27 years of experience at the China Foreign Trade Centre (CFTC), he has been instrumental in promoting the Canton Fair globally.

Currently serving as Permanent Representative at the Canton Fair Hong Kong Representative Office (since Jan 2026), Mr. Yu oversees buyer promotion across Hong Kong and Macao. Previously, he served as Deputy General Manager of CFTC’s International Department (2012-2025), leading domestic and international buyer outreach for the Canton Fair. Earlier in his career, he managed full-cycle operations for major exhibitions including CIFF Guangzhou, CBD Fair (Guangzhou), and Auto Guangzhou.
