Before joining the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC), Mr. Yeung was a senior executive at Swire Group. He spent nearly three decades in the Group’s Aviation Division, holding senior management positions at both Cathay Pacific Airways

and Dragonair. From 2009 to 2011, he served as the Group’s China Chief Representative, based in Beijing.

An accomplished executive, Mr. Yeung has solid commercial and operational experience across Asia, with recognized expertise in pioneering and starting new ventures, change management, and government relations. In 2019, he was appointed Professor of Practice (Tourism Marketing) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. As CEO of HKGCC, Mr. Yeung sits on various boards and government committees, including GS1HK, the International Business Committee, and the HKTDC Council. He holds a Master’s degree in E-Commerce and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from The University of Hong Kong.
