Julian Pfrombeck is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and Head of the Lifelong Learning Lab. He obtained his PhD from ETH Zurich and was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Columbia University. His research explores the motivational potential of uncertainty for learning, social interactions, workplace diversity, and career changes across the lifespan using different research designs and methods, such as longitudinal field studies, experiments, and interventions. His work has been published in leading journals including the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).
