Ruth WenRegional Director-Designate (Europe), Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB)

Ruth is the Regional Director-Designate for Europe at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), where she works closely with European companies to facilitate investments in Singapore. She is currently preparing for relocate to the United Kingdom to assume her role as Regional Director.

Ruth began her career in the healthcare sector as a Case Manager at the National Healthcare Group, before joining the Health Promotion Board (HPB) as a Programme Manager.

She subsequently joined the EDB, where she has built extensive experience across multiple divisions including the Industry Manpower Division and the Consumer Division, developing expertise in industry development, talent strategies and investment facilitation.

Ruth holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) in Food Science & Technology from the National University of Singapore.
