Samantha ScottFormer Hong Kong rugby player and COO of the Societe Generale Valley RFC

Samantha has represented Hong Kong in a number of sports including U18 Hockey, U21 Netball and then confirming her place in the sport of Rugby where she represented the various age groups and went on to Captain the Senior National Hong Kong Womens 15’s and 7’s team. Awarded the Omega Hong Kong Sports Women of the Year award, over the years, she played competitive Rugby in Hong Kong and overseas with Valley RFC, the Waikato NPC Representative team in New Zealand, New Zealand Universities and the London Wasps Premiership team. Since returning to Hong Kong she has worked heavily in the sports industry, formerly as the Head of Womens Rugby Development at the Hong Kong Rugby Union and presently as the Chief Operations Officer for one of Hong Kong’s leading multi sports club, Societe Generale Valley RFC. Samantha is currently part of the global Women in Sports Leadership Academy cohort and the World Rugby Womens Executive Leadership Group. She is also a contributor and part of the high performance strategy working group for the IWG World Conference on Women in Sport and a finalist in AmCham’s Leading Women in Sport awards.
