Stein started his entrepreneur life in 1988 selling secondhand mainframe computers in Southeast Asia, which led to the formation of my China WOFE business in 1994 which sold to the top 5 banks, Telco, and power companies in China. He sold the business to THL Partners, a large PE fund in 2010. He founded another business to be the first firm to offer Dynamic Currency Conversion in Asia in 2004 partnering with Bank of China(HK, Macau, and China). In 2010, he co-founded AMP Credit Tech with the vision to automate the SME loan application along with digitizing supporting documents but unfortunately, cannot compete with the latest AI technology.

He joined Apoidea, an AI market leader in financial documentation, to help them grow their business worldwide.
