Thomas Baccino came to China as a student in 2005 and built his life there for the next two decades. From global shipping to sourcing and supply chains, and from entrepreneurship to start-up investment, one thread has run through it all: connecting China with the rest of the world.

Today, he brings that vision to life with Korben, the robotics company he founded. Korben meets a fast-growing demand for robotics and delivers practical solutions to the real challenges businesses face today, combining Chinese innovation and know-how with a global ambition. And it is working: in just three years, the team has grown from 2 to 60 people across France and China, with offices in Paris and Shenzhen.
