One of the Business Environment Council’s (BEC) flagship events to address key issues related to Hong Kong’s environmental sustainability.

The French Chamber is delighted to support the BEC EnviroSeries Conference 2020.

EnviroSeries Conference is one of BEC’s flagship events held twice per year that aims to provide a cross-sector forum to discuss and address key issues related to Hong Kong’s environmental sustainability. Reflecting on the unprecedented disruption the world is facing in recent months, the main objective of this conference is to challenge our conventional wisdom and find an innovative, low carbon approach to recover from the lows of the COVID-19 outbreak. We want to highlight the tough challenges, extended risks but also new-found opportunities faced by businesses in such difficult time, and to showcase how corporate leaders are building resilience and adaptability into their business planning and operations for long-term sustainability.

To facilitate discussion, the conference will be structured into 4 main sessions:

  1. Decarbonisation amid economic downturn and plummeting fuel price
  2. Investing in a resilient built environment
  3. Developing a Future-Ready Workforce
  4. How the boardroom and investors can lead the way in low carbon recovery
