PwC in collaboration with the World Economic Forum released a report in regards to the corporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting in China. There has been a surge of activities in regulators, exchanges, investors and corporate leaders. Having experienced increasing demands for ESG reporting from investors, as well as several years of ESG reporting requirements from the HKEX, China’s listed companies are increasingly familiar with both the challenges and benefits of ESG reporting. Are the conditions right for a leapfrog moment in China? Sammie Leung, Climate and Sustainability Leader, PwC Mainland China and Hong Kong and Loretta Fong, Assurance Partner, PwC Hong Kong will answer this question during the webinar and afterwards there will also be time for a Q&A session.
