Morning Talk : How to guide your team toward excellence
Join a 13‑time World Champion in Breaking as he shares how Olympic‑level excellence can be applied within organisations

Mounir is first and foremost a 13-time World Champion in Breaking. He began his journey in the streets and went on to help bring this discipline to the Olympic Games, working closely with the International Olympic Committee and the Paris 2024 organizing committee as an international reference in the field.
Today, Mounir shares his experience and insights on how to lead teams toward high, sustainable, and human-centered performance, across cultures and diverse organizational contexts. You will discover how to build a strong and cohesive team culture, particularly in multicultural environments, where differences in mindset, communication, and leadership styles can be transformed into genuine performance drivers.
The session explores the foundations of collective excellence -discipline, high standards, trust, and accountability- while clarifying the critical distinction between motivation and engagement, a key factor in sustaining performance over time. You will gain practical insights into strengthening team cohesion, managing mistakes, failure, and stress, and creating an environment of psychological safety where learning and responsibility thrive. The role of team rituals and non-negotiable rules will be highlighted as essential anchors for clarity, consistency, and alignment.
Drawing on leadership experiences in China, Europe, and highly diverse cultural settings, the session will help you adapt your leadership approach without compromising your core values. Finally, you will explore the mental habits of high-performing teams and leave with concrete strategies to make high performance accessible, sustainable, and repeatable- for both individuals and the collective.
