Learn about the advantages, challenges, and the connectivity among GBA cities from business leaders in different sectors.
Thanks to our sponsor:
The masterplan of the Greater Bay Area (GBA) to develop Hong Kong along with another 10 Chinese cities to build up new foundations for cross-border businesses is now in full swing. By combining the strengths of each city, the GBA has the potential to become an economic powerhouse that could rival the likes of the Greater Tokyo Bay, San Francisco Bay Area, and New York Metropolitan Area.
The GBA's outline development plan intends to foster cooperation in the following key areas:
- Innovation & Technology
- Infrastructural Connectivity
- Financial Integration
- Social Betterment
While the GBA opens up significant opportunities for entrepreneurs and established businesses, its potential to reach beyond the physical borders has also prompted many questions: How to retain talent? How do we secure the flow of capital? What initiatives are in place to help our business? How does the GBA help accelerating the cross-border development for professional services, retail, healthcare, real estate and more?
Supported by the China Committee, this sharing session brings together business leaders in the GBA to speak about the advantages, challenges, and the connectivity among cities in the grand scheme.
More speakers will be announced shortly.
