This strategic announcement marks the next phase of Alea’s global scaling, following its new French broker license (ORIAS registration) and opening of a new Paris office.
Based in Paris, Eric Lasaygues will lead Alea’s European operations, focusing on business development and strategic partnerships, and bridging the gap between Europe and Asia for globally mobile professionals, families, entrepreneurs and SMEs.

The appointment signals Alea’s commitment to the 3 million of French citizens living abroad and beyond, to the wider international expat & SME community. As official representative of the Caisse des Français de l’Étranger (CFE) and thanks to combining digital experience and human advisory, Alea is uniquely positioned to streamline complex international insurance needs.

About Eric Lasaygues
Eric Lasaygues brings 30 years of international experience in finance, actuarial science, partnerships and insurance brokerage.
After leading teams in France, Japan, Argentina and Italy at BNP Paribas Cardif, Eric co-founded and developed the international network of the brokerage firm CBP between 2007 and 2018, in Europe and South-East Asia. He was Deputy CEO at Kereis between 2021 and 2024, in charge of European teams. He also served as a member of the Executive Committee of CNP Assurances during its capital tie-up with La Banque Postale. A certified member of the French Institut des Actuaires, Eric holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Statistics from ENSAE Institut Polytechnique de Paris. In addition to his native French, he is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.
