BANSARD INTERNATIONAL joins Air France KLM Martinair Cargo in reducing CO2 emissions
Air France KLM Martinair Cargo (AFKLMP) and BANSARD INTERNATIONAL have concluded an agreement under the airline's Sustainable Aviation Fuel programme. The partnership includes an annual investment by Bansard which AFKLMP will commit to purchase Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), with the contribution being used to cover the cost difference between conventional aviation fuel and SAF.

Loïc Benattar, Vice President Asia-Pacific at Bansard adds: “As top leading airfreight providers from Asia to Europe, it is compulsory for Air France KLM Martinair Cargo and Bansard International to commit to a cleaner, more sustainable and more responsible approach with concrete actions on that trade. This programme is a logical extension of our mutual commitments with our trusted partner and attests to Bansard International's concrete efforts to move towards even more responsible logistics”.

The AFKLMP Cargo SAF programme enables different stakeholders in the logistical airfreight industry to power a percentage of their flights with SAF. By participating to this programme, Bansard International not only reduce their own carbon footprint, but also confirm their commitment to leading the industry towards a more sustainable future.
