In an international environment marked by geopolitical tensions and ongoing disruptions to maritime transport, businesses must rethink their logistics strategies to secure their supply chains, control costs and anticipate market developments.
The French Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong invites you to join its upcoming Sourcing Committee session, led by Romain Camerman, to explore the current challenges facing the logistics industry and the practical solutions businesses can implement to adapt their supply chain strategies.
During this session, we will cover the following key topics:
- Logistics Industry Outlook: The impact of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and disruptions to the Suez Canal on maritime transport and global supply chains.
- Supply Chain Resilience: Strategies adopted by businesses to secure their operations, including supplier and transport diversification, increased safety stocks and the optimisation of logistics flows across Asia.
- Artificial Intelligence & Innovation: How emerging technologies can improve delivery time predictions, anticipate disruptions and optimise logistics decision-making.
- Cost Optimisation & Budget Planning: Evaluating the trade-offs between sea and air freight, alongside practical recommendations to anticipate transport costs and effectively prepare logistics budgets for the year ahead.
This session will also provide an opportunity to engage with Romain Camerman and fellow participants, share experiences and explore practical solutions to strengthen the efficiency and resilience of supply chains.

* For in-person events, no-show penalty of HK$200 will be charged for members and non-members, unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.
