Creative Industries Committee launches with its inaugural President announced

The French Chamber in Hong Kong is delighted to announce the launch of its new Creative Industries Committee. Inaugural President Krystyna Winckler, Founder of AARRTT, took to the floor at the end of yesterday evening’s Entrepreneur & SME Committee and Luxury & Retail Committee crossover event ‘Creativity calling: The new Hong Kong’ to officially introduce the Committee to the Chamber’s community.

“The Creative Industries Committee is designed to bring its members a borderless, free, open, upbeat and inspiring breath of fresh air,” she said after the event.

As a core focus of the HKSAR Government, creative industries are set to become a driver for the city’s future economic development. The sectors covered include advertising, architecture, design, digital entertainment, film, music, printing and publishing, and television.

This committee is about discovering, sharing, helping, imagining, inspiring and fighting. To bring creative industries to the forefront, and to allow them to ignite a new force for Hong Kong,” summarises Krystyna.

The initial programme for the Committee is being finalised, with two dates confirmed already for its first meetings: 17 March and 10 May. Find out more about the Committee.
