The statutory maternity leave (ML) under the Employment Ordinance (Cap. 57) has been extended from 10 weeks to 14 weeks effective from 11 December 2020. Employers can apply for reimbursement of the statutory maternity leave pay paid to employees in respect of the 11th to 14th weeks’ ML, subject to a cap of $80,000 per employee, through the RMLP Scheme. For details, please visit the Reimbursement Easy Portal (www.rmlps.gov.hk).
LD has appointed a processing agent to help implement the Scheme. Having launched the Scheme for about six months, we are looking for improvements and thus your views are valuable.
All the information provided in the survey will be handled in strict confidence and used only for compiling statistics to be presented in an aggregated format. Neither you nor your company will be mentioned as having participated in the survey.
