New French Chamber President, Gaëlle Olivier, announced at the 2021 Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the French Chamber in Hong Kong took place across a hybrid virtual and in-person format on Thursday 30 September, followed by the first Council meeting of the new business year where Gaëlle Olivier was announced as the Chamber’s new President.

The CEO Asia of Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking takes over the role from Pierre-Eric Saint-André who has recently relocated to France.

“I have been very impressed by the dynamism and the constructive spirit of the French Chamber in Hong Kong over the past months, despite these complex times. I feel humbled and honoured to take over from Pierre-Eric whom I would like to thank for his exceptional leadership. I am grateful towards the Councillors for their trust and support and will make my best to continue to promote a collaborative partnership between our members and with the Hong Kong ecosystem as well as with the wider overseas French Chamber (CCIFI) network,” said Gaëlle Olivier.

Meanwhile, Saint-André has been named Honorary President in recognition of his service, joining the ranks of other former Presidents.
